I'm an OHSU fellow and we're heading out for an extended trip. We're renting our home from July 1, 2026 through end of April 2027 as our preferred timeline. We've built in flexibility on the term and start date though, so if 11 or 12 months works better on your end (or you'd want to start a week earlier), happy to talk. Looking for someone who'd love the place as much as we do.

3BR / 3BA, 2,048 sqft, cul-de-sac, about 10-15 minutes to OHSU Marquam Hill, no HOA
Drive to Marquam Hill: Typically 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic and route. Quiet residential cul-de-sac, two-car attached garage with separate doors, plus driveway parking.
Layout: All three bedrooms upstairs (great for families). Main level for living, dining, and kitchen. Primary suite has vaulted ceiling, large picture windows, and a dedicated bath with double vanity and walk-in shower. Upstairs office or third bedroom currently set up with desk and seating, which works well for work-from-home days or call shifts.
Recent updates (2021-2024): new roof, new HVAC, new composite deck, new pergola, luxury vinyl plank flooring on the main level, fresh interior paint throughout.
Kitchen and living: Gas cooktop island with bar seating, granite countertops, two gas fireplaces (main living and family room), vaulted ceilings, large picture windows, french doors from the main level out to the deck.
Outdoor: Composite deck with pergola, fire pit, outdoor seating, mature landscaping. 2-year-old hot tub included with the home if you cover the chemical service directly (roughly $80 to $130 per month for bi-weekly all-inclusive service with a local company, happy to introduce you to ours). If hot tubs aren't your thing, no problem, we'll winterize and cover it for the lease.
Schools (Portland Public): Capitol Hill Elementary, Jackson Middle, Ida B. Wells-Barnett High.
Furnishing, lean furnished. What stays:
- Dining table and kitchen bar stools
- Living room couch, leather recliner, and TV
- Primary suite TV, dresser, and bed frame (mattress not included, easy to source)
- Upstairs office desk and brown couch
- Second guest bedroom: bed frame and mattress, black dresser, desk
- Outdoor deck furniture and cushions
Happy to leave additional items on request, or swap out what you don't need. Just let us know what would work for you. If you'd rather bring your own furniture, that's an option too, just let us know and we'll talk through terms.
Lease terms:
- Rent: $3,700/month
- Term: about 10 months preferred (July 1, 2026 through end of April 2027). Open to 11 or 12 months for the right tenant.
- Security deposit: $3,700 (one month's rent, refundable)
- Utilities: paid by tenant (electric, gas, water/sewer/garbage, internet)
- Renter's insurance required (proof at move-in, kept current through the lease)
- Application fee: $55/adult (covers our actual screening cost)
- Hot tub: included with the home if tenant covers the chemical service directly with the vendor
- Pets: considered case-by-case ($35/mo small, $50/mo large, $500 refundable deposit, no exotics or large aquariums)
- No smoking inside
