The Neighborhood
Lair Hill historic district is a friendly neighborhood adjacent to downtown's southern edge. Houses built around late 1800's intermixed with the random townhouse squeezed in between. Lucky to have such a warm neighborhood feeling and being so close to downtown. You can feel comfortable walking late at night or for an early run before getting started. There are always neighbors walking their dogs. I have chickens so locally I am known as "The chicken lady". Many employees of OHSU walking to work early morning and late evening. Beautiful views of the city and Willamette River from our street as well as from the OHSU Aerial Tram that is 6 blocks walk from my house.
