I have 2 rooms in a beautiful home on marquam hill. The living room/kitchen features a glass wall that lets us have an amazing view of downtown Portland as well as letting ample light in during the winters.

About the rooms

- Large bedroom (825/month): 2 closets and large enough to accommodate a queen bed and L shaped desk + more
- Smaller bedroom (675/month): 1 closet & large enough for queen bed and desk. But gets tight. Luckily there is a lot of space in the living room.

- Utilities (gas/electric, water, trash) are split evenly between us.

Hi:

My name is Don Gorelick, native to Elmont, "Lawngisland", NY; age 62; I live at Gardenbrook Apts. on SW 102nd Ave in Beaverton (off Canyon Rd); I'm in the vicinity of Beaverton Target; Valley Theater/Jesuit HS on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. I'm about 4 blocks east of the Highway 217 overpass to Canyon Rd.

I'm looking to split my 1-bedroom apt.; roommate gets bedroom, I get the living room; apt. is on ground floor/is an end apartment and windows face west so lots of afternoon sunlight. Room comes furnished- shelving, table, chairs, file cabinet (outside the room), closet w/ cubbyhole shelving to put undies, socks, shoes, etc. Room is approx. 11.5' across and approx. 12' length (from door to far window). I do not have internet service but I'm willing to split that with you; Comcast wire internet service. As far as pets, I'm open to an indoor cat.

Apt. rents monthly for $1,000; but I'm charging roommate $400 monthly + 1/3 electricity (I pay balance).

I work at Intel- Ronler Acres in their D1C fab; foupwashing. I work nights (latter half of week). I watch movies when I can- both at Valley Theater and via Netflix/Redbox rentals. Prospective roommate should expect some sound from my side of apt. Apt. then shouldn't be viewed as a study haven but could when I'm at work (I leave early, anytime between 3:30pm / 5:00pm on nights of work). Prospective roommate should work no more than p/t but a full time internship is ok.
