Private Room+Bath in Lair Hill/OHSU
Hello, we have a private bedroom and bathroom to rent in our Lair Hill condo lease. The room is part of a 3-story, end-unit townhouse, which offers bright living spaces in a quiet setting just minutes from OHSU/VA/Doernbecher and downtown. The townhouse also includes in-unit laundry, a gas fireplace, granite countertops, modern appliances, hardwood floors, forced air heat and central A/C. There is a 1-car oversized garage and ample street parking for car commuters as well as convenient access to public transportation, including a bus stop at the street corner. There are no pets allowed and the condo complex is a smoke-free community.

The room is unfurnished, but can be furnished with a bed, dresser, nightstand, and table. Water, sewer, basic cable, and exterior maintenance included, so we will split gas, electric and internet per person (~$50/pp). The roommate will have access to all of the common areas in the home, including the living room, kitchen, two balconies, and powder room as well as shared storage spaces.

We are a young, professional couple (Her: Dental Student at OHSU, Him: City Planner at City of Portland). We generally stay busy throughout the day, and prefer to keep a quiet and clean home environment. Most of our time at home will be spent studying, cooking, or sleeping, but we also enjoy hosting dinners at times (with prior notification, of course).

Ideally, we would like to find another respectful and social young professional, grad student, or resident/fellow, who is responsible about rent and bills. We appreciate direct, open communication and value honesty and accountability.

Housing wanted for one man and one
Hello,

I am posting this on behalf of a friend who has limited resources.
Phil and his service dog are looking for a basement room, trailer, mother in law suite, or garage to rent.

Phil and Luci [dog], currently live in a van in SE Portland. They have been on the Portland subsidized housing lists for months, but all spots are full. I have known Phil for 10 months and he does not do drugs or drink. He takes excellent care of Luci, who is very well behaved and gentle. Phil keeps his van very tidy and organized and gets along with everyone in the neighborhood. He keeps regular, daytime hours. Phil is 66 and struggles with getting pneumonia in the winter. He really wants a place to live. He is able to pay some rent - $400-600/month.
