Room in 2BR (close-in SE, easy #9
Your unfurnished room is about 10x12 and a medium/small closet with some shelving inside (+tons of basement storage space). The room has one window and is on the darker side; the rest of the house gets great light.

You'd be sharing the home with a post-bac student/design professional ... plus one very sweet cat. I'm friendly, sociable, and welcoming and truly want this to feel like home to both of us, even if we're not actually home much.

Just across the river, this duplex is comfortable and close to everything: easy commute to OHSU, especially the waterfront. Hawthorne/Division are just a few blocks away. People Food Coop is right up the street. The apartment is carpeted. Living room is a comfortable size with plenty of windows. Generous kitchen with dishwasher, loads of cupboards, and an adjoining dining area (or craft corner?)

Washer/dryer in private basement! Fenced backyard with a detached garage. If you are the gardening sort, there's plenty of potential, but none of the current tenants on the property put in that energy. Shared front porch, and easy street parking. Pets are welcome if they get along with others cats. NON-smoking home.

#9 bus stops half a block away.

\$635 One room for rent in a two be
Hey there!

Like the title says, there is one room for rent in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment. It is located in Greenbriar Village in SW Portland. The place is clean since we just moved into the apartment a month ago. Not a lot of furniture still, so you can bring your things and make it more like home. Unfortunately, I want to live in a place closer to my work so I'm moving out. The place is close to various restaurants and coffee shops on SW Macadam Ave. It is also close to OHSU, the waterfront tram and Downtown Portland. There are buses running on SW Barbur Blvd and SW Corbett Ave. Rent is also pretty cheap!

Your roommate will be a baking student who owns two cats. She keeps the place clean. The cats are friendly and well behaved. They mostly keep to themselves. So must like cats, or at least don't mind them. They will respect your space.

There is a $600 security deposit and the lease runs till end of July 2018. Rent is $635/month and you split utilities with the roommate. There is also an application fee where they do a background check:

Any questions? You can text or email.

Master w bath \$1000 9-1-17

My friend and I are looking for a roommate in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. All utilities are included in the rent! One year lease starting September 1st.

A little bit about the place:

The unit is on two floors of an older home walking distance to downtown Portland. The house was built in 1911 and has 3 units total. Our unit is on the main floor and basement levels (the basement is somewhat built into a hill and gets plenty of natural light). There are other units on the second level and attic. We hardly ever hear noise coming from the other units.

The main level features a living room and dining room with new bamboo floors throughout. The living room has a large fireplace and window overlooking the front deck. The kitchen is large, modern, has a floating breakfast bar and dishwasher. It also has a door to the backyard where we often drink wine or tea around the fire pit or on the porch swing. The backyard is fenced in and offers a fair amount of privacy.

The main level also has a rather large master bedroom, which is the bedroom currently available. The bamboo flooring extends into the bedroom, but a portion of it is carpeted for your bed. It has a large walk-in closet with plenty of shelving. The bathroom has a full shower and its own closet for towels and such. This room also has a window unit air conditioner.

The downstairs has its own kitchenette, bathroom, and living room. The kitchenette has a breakfast bar, microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. This living room is small, but large enough to fit a TV and love seat. This space will be open to you as well.

We are currently in the two smaller bedrooms downstairs.

More about the property:

Offers private storage space downstairs and soon-to-be-free washer/dryer.

Parking on the street is $60/year. There never seems to be a problem finding a spot.

The house has central heating between all of the units, so the landlord has a strict no smoking policy. This includes cannabis. Smokers are free to walk outside.

Cats are permitted, but dogs are not. We currently do not have any pets.

About us:

We are both quiet and respectful young professionals. We maintain a clean house (partially thanks to the Roomba). The ideal roommate will respect personal space, but also be open to developing friendship. You will be welcome to join us going out for drinks or on hikes.

The master bedroom goes for $1,000/month. This includes all utilities, except internet/cable. Deposit equals one months rent.

Pictures are available on request.

About Me:
I’m a respectful, clean, fun, honest, sane person and an awesome roommate. I’m a good student and spend most of time at school or studying. For fun, I like to go hiking, ride my bike, work on my electronics projects, play music (not very well), and explore around Portland. I don’t do drugs or party that much and typically stay pretty quiet except for special events like a hockey game or game of thrones.
I've had plenty of different roommate experiences and know how to take care of myself and how to communicate and contribute to keep the home functioning and peaceful. I would say that I have an above average tolerance for messiness. But, I know not everyone is like me and it is important to people, so I make sure to keep all common areas clean and always clean up after myself. That means I do my dishes after I finish cooking/eating. And, I don't mind pitching in on other chores as well. I believe the house is a sanctuary. I am always respectful of personal property and privacy and expect the same.

Pictures are also available on request.

Private Room+Bath in Lair Hill/OHSU
Hello, we have a private bedroom and bathroom to rent in our Lair Hill condo lease. The room is part of a 3-story, end-unit townhouse, which offers bright living spaces in a quiet setting just minutes from OHSU/VA/Doernbecher and downtown. The townhouse also includes in-unit laundry, a gas fireplace, granite countertops, modern appliances, hardwood floors, forced air heat and central A/C. There is a 1-car oversized garage and ample street parking for car commuters as well as convenient access to public transportation, including a bus stop at the street corner. There are NO PETS allowed and the condo complex is a SMOKE-FREE community.

The room is unfurnished, but can be furnished with a bed, dresser, nightstand, and table. Water, sewer, basic cable, and exterior maintenance included, so we will split gas, electric and internet per person (~$50/pp). The roommate will have access to all of the common areas in the home, including the living room, kitchen, two balconies, and powder room as well as shared storage spaces.

We are a young, professional couple (Her: Dental Student at OHSU, Him: Urban Planner at City of Portland). We generally stay busy throughout the day, and prefer to keep a quiet and clean home environment. Most of our time at home will be spent studying, cooking, or sleeping, but we also enjoy hosting dinners at times (with prior notification, of course).

Ideally, we would like to find another respectful and social young professional, grad student, or resident/fellow, who is responsible about rent and bills. We prefer a long term renter, of at least one year, with possible renewal thereafter. We appreciate direct, open communication and value honesty and accountability.

The room will be available starting August 6, 2017. We hope to hear from you soon!

TLDR: $1150 (includes water, sewage, basic cable, and exterior maintenance), private unfurnished bedroom/bathroom, amazing end-unit townhouse with modern amenities and single car garage, split utilities (1/3--about $50/pp), smoke-free, no pets, close to OHSU/VA/Doernbecher and downtown, access to public transportation (bus, Streetcar, and MAX).
