Hi from Australia
Hi, My name is Jane McNicol; I'm 15 years old and live in a little country town, located in the state of Victoria, in Australia. I am a Sled Dog Racer in Australia and was given your web address by Giselle Lambert. I would like to know more about racing in Alaska, as it is very different from the racing over here! I don't know how much you know about our way of racing but if there is anything that you would like to know or if there is anyone else that i can talk to; it would be great to answer/ask questions. Hi Jane How wonderful to hear for a musher from so far away. It would be great to exchange ideas and training techniques. We have quite a few mushers in our club that are your age. How many dogs do you have? Do you have races where you live? Do you belong to a club? T.

I just meet an Australian couple that mushes this summer. We periodically e-mail, they speek of very little opportunities for mushing in the snow and doing mostly dry land training, so there would be one big difference. Any specific questions we could help answer? |
