Splash Pools

I viewed a property the other day with a splash pool. I did not have a filtration system. I was told that there is a resevoir below and the pool is filled from that and you just maintain by netting any debris and change the water every 6 weeks or so. No chlorine is used in the pool so they can pump the water over the land.

Has anyone had expereince of this type of system.

Re: Splash Pools

We looked at a property with a simular system. Looked like it was a converted water store. We would use as a temp measure until we could afford to build a new swimming pool. Not sure about the no chemicals bit though as the water could be of the agri land and would be full of germs. I would not let my children in without some sort of chorline tabs in it. I understand that chemicals only lasts a few days so you could still pump over land if you left the water to stand a few days say a week before pumping out. I am no expert but this is what i have found out
