Re: Non payment of rent
this is a hard one because we are in a situation where our landlord has left us in a flood damaged house, we have a huge hole in our bathroom ceiling, mold growing all over the walls where the water pored through and various other problems over the year we have lived in our house, none of which our landlord sorted out until we with held rent. we are now in a legal wrangle with him to get our rent reduced to reflect the state of the house. its not we didnt WANT to pay our rent or didnt have it but it was the principle.
if none of the above applies to your situation i can only urge you to seek legal advice. tenants are very strongly protected in spain and it takes 8 to 9 months to rid yourself of a sitting tenant, not to mention the hassle and legal costs. i would urge you to try and sort itout amicably with your tenants if at all possible, if not, the legal route is your only option.
good luck
