Re: Shipping Cost

We often get emails asking us about the cost of shipping; especially for Hawaii and Alaska. The shopping cart calculates the shipping for us based on your zip code and UPS. BUT, if we can ship at a lower cost using US Priority Mail we will do that and then we'll adjust the cost to you before we process the credit card transaction. We do this for every package we ship out if we can. We know that you need to keep your costs low and shipping is very expensive; we do our best to charge you the least we possibly can.

Greg spends a lot of time looking into how to reduce shiping costs be it which carrier to use or by changing the size of the box we use for your package. Shipping is expensive no matter what be he does what he can to reduce it for you if he can.

Please realize that we don't make money on shipping. We have to purchase boxes, packing materials, labels AND pay someone to pick your goods from the shelves and pack it in the boxes so it gets to you safely. All this costs $$$. Again, we do what we can to keep costs down. We are now a recycling center and accept styrofoam packaging materials from local residents and businesses who need to get rid of them. We also reuse all the materials that our own shipments come in. This is good for YOU costwise and good for the environment.
