bucket pens for fused glass

I want to buy one of those bucket pens that you fill with Thompson Enamel Gold Ink to sign my pieces. I don't know the manufacturer of the pen. Can anyone help? The buckets on the bucket pens at Michael's are too small. I have asked my glass supplier, but I'm still waiting after a year...... I think the manufacturer starts with a "W".

All the ones I've seen have a very small 'bucket'....

But I've been told that the ones at Michael's are not big enough to allow the gold ink to flow through. Do you remember the brand name of any you have seen?

Re: bucket pens for fused glass

May I ask all the fusers out there how you are signing your work? Besides the bucket pen with gold ink, I have heard of diamond bit dremmels to etch the surface of the finished piece and then wiping enamel paint over the etching in a contrasting color to the glass. I wonder how many sign in gold ink and how many engrave, and are there other good ways? I want to start signing my work.

Re: bucket pens for fused glass

Hi, I found a bucket pen and gold glass paint for adding details to my fused glass B/4 firing at my local Georgie's clay/ceramic store in Eugene, OR. Gold glass paint also at my glass store outlet, The Art of Glass.
I sign the back of my fused glass w/a dremmel engraver, just my initials, and leave "as is." Looks nice on black/dark colors. Careful on clear pendants and dishes, tho, as it shows through! Do it in a corner, end, edge, etc. Have a great day! Janis P.

I use a diamond tip engraver. For transparent pieces I sign on the edge.
