how big do I make pattern
I have a fish mold I want to use for slumping. I would like confirmation ... do I make my pattern the same size as the mold. |

The glass is going to sink down a little to fit the contour of the mold. I never make my glass from LARGER than the mold but I believe people do. I don't because in my experience I've had them slump over the edge... perhaps I did something wrong? I make my glass go just up to the outside edge of my mold. My finished pieces are a tad smaller than the mold but I can live with that. Luck, Nan |
