glass slumping

I have been working in stained glass and recently bought a small kiln, paragon SC2, and would like to try slumping stained glass using slumping forms. I am not sure what or how to proceed and the manual gives very little information. I thought I would start small by slumping a piece of glass on a votive mold. Could you give me some tips to follow?

Re: glass slumping

Hello:

Are you using a single thickness of glass? Check out the HOW TO section of the site for one or two projects on doing this. There is on on making the 'vase/votives' and one on making small, single fire, dishes. Both are suitable for your kiln.

Luck,
Nan
