gold pens
I would like to decorate some of my fused pieces with real gold. I have a gold pen and some gold liquid. It specifies it is for use with glass. My question is, do I fire it, and if so, what is the firing schedule? I can not seem to find this anywhere on line. |

I don't know what brand of gold 'ink' you have but the one we used to sell is a low fire gold paint. We would fire the piece first, apply the gold, and then refire at a low temp - around 1100-1200 but it really depends on the specific product your using. Can you call the people you bought it from? They should be able to supply the specific info.. or you can test according to my input... LUCK, Nan |
