family tree

The conflict between God and Cain is nicely developing. I am not sure really if God should remain a nameless figure, but I am looking forward to some of the characters we might see during the journey into Hell. I think, most of all, I would like to see some sort of confrontation between Cain and his brother, but honestly I would make a nice cliffhanger.

After reading Book One again, I was wondering if Cain's family will be written about in more depth. I saw that Khaballa found it humorous that Cain believed Adam his father.

Re: family tree

I do admit I try not to toss around the name 'God' too much. Despite the fact that there seems to be a healthy dose of Catholicism in CAIN, I'm trying to make is as nondenominational as possible. Maybe The Above is God. Or Yngwe. Or Allah. Or Jehovah. Or Morgan Freeman. The Above is whatever the reader thinks it is. Every now and then the name 'God' emerges only because that's the name CAIN knows. As for the family tree, that will definitely be an ongoing theme. In fact, CAIN will be very soon confronting KHABALLA on the very point you raised. Finally, as for that other thing you mentioned, weeelll...

CAIN follows when I normally see in cinema when dealing with a religious topic. A Catholic slant is usually implied in dealing with humanity's relationship with God. Dante would be proud in your interpretation.
