Elitists: Episode #11
It was a nicely done episode. I am, of course, impatient for what is to happen in the second Elite Trinity and wish it would have moved more done that road. The interlude between Axiom and Imperion was wet my appetite. Two things of note: (a) You did not continue Acrobat's outfit change from the last episode. (b) I wish you would have allowed more carnage toward Shaniqua from Armadillo. Her just dodging did not seem to emote much. The superhero archtypes you continued to do well. I especially emjoyed Tangent. Normally the wisecracking character I dislike in a comic, but you have written some funny lines for him over the last couple of issues or so. Keep up the great work. |

Thanks for your kind words. Axiom will definitely be a thorn in our heroes' sides in the not too distant future. I did change Acrobat's costume again simply because I wasn't happy with the one from the last episode. He'll keep the current one for a while. As for Power vs. Armadillo you're right that seeing the carnage would have been more fun but I shortened that fight because quite frankly Power didn't have a chance. Since she'd already gotten shredded by the super villain Dark Realm back in Episode 6 I didn't want to give the impression that Power lost every one-on-one fight she was in. I also wanted to stress the teamwork aspect. Of course, Armadillo didn't have time for a drawn out fight. He had to catch a bus ;-). Glad you like Tangent as well. He's the heart of the team. I see him as more of a pressure relief valve than comic relief. I really hope you enjoy the Elite Trinity II. It'll be more all encompassing than the first Elite Trinity and it'll affect more of the GenXorcist Universe. Happy New Year! |
