Both Turner and Guenther need to go. Don't forget that Guenter is the one who let Self get away too! I say clean house and get to the root of the problem while sweeping Turner out the door!
You gotta remember too, if u read one of the major newspaper articles, Self didn't wanna be here anymore, He was kicked out because he was caught on the phone discussing plans w/ Kansas, to that Guenther told him to pack up his stuff and go. Do u really want an ******* like that to stay w/ IL? We got a guy now who's willing to stay and build an f'in program instead of going to one that is already established.
You may be correct and I am far enough away from regular Illini news to miss that sort of thing. Still, it seems like our BB program has become a stepoff point instead of a destination. The football program, on the other hand, now looks like a rest home for non-performers.
