The Ford family is totally overwhelmed by the support we have received from everyone. How can we thank you for your support. Our hearts are heavy but you have made it bearable. The website has received unprecidented hits from all over the world.
Glenn would be proud and would thank you all from the bottom of his heart.
I'm sitting here crying as I read all these tributes to Glenn. Thanks so much for posting the message from Peter on the post farther down.
I hope Glenn is up in heaven sitting with Rita, and having a drink with Bill Holden and his other friends.
Blast the Academy for being so politicized that they couldn't remember him when he was with us!
Also thanks for letting us know when TCM will have their tribute. (Their site was next after here to see if they had posted the info yet.) You did a beautiful job with the memorial page on this site.
To Glenn Ford's family. It will be so hard to bare pain of loss and very stressfull for all of you. Your Dad was such a great actor and you had to share him with the world all your life. Be at peace to know that the world loved your Dad as an actor and as a person. He will be missed greatly by all of you. Speaking from experiance I lost my Father a few months after his 90th birthday just last October. It is still hard to bare somethimes even now but be at peace to know that your dad is healthy in God's world with all his friends and family that has passed over before him. We all will be with the ones we love again when God chooses our time to pass over. Cherrish his memory and remeber all the good times you had when he was on this earth plain. Talk to your dad's spirit he will hear you. Ask Physic John Edwards of "Crossing Over" and you will know what I say is true. God Bless you Peter and your family and ask God to help with the pain.
