A time of remembrance of one of the greats

My deepest condolences to Mr. Ford's family at this time. He had such a quiet strength. I have three of his films in my collection to remember is fine talent: Gilda, Big Heat and 3:10 to Yuma. I always felt their were four great leading men of the post war era left - Mr. Ford, Richard Widmark, Kirk Douglas and Charlton Heston. Mr. Ford is truly part of an end of an era. I felt that he and Richard Widmark were long overdue for Honorary Oscars. I tried to contact the Academy with my suggestion but have never got a response. I will always remember Mr. Ford's fine work.
