Met Mr. Ford in September of 1971 while my USMC reserve unit was training in Calif. Several of us went up to Hollywood to get publicity shots for Toys for Tots. Met Mr. Ford outside the set of Cade's County. Wearing his military uniform, he was especially proud to point out that all the medal and ribbons were earned by him. He was a real gentleman who will be missed by this Marine.
