"The Teahouse of the August Moon," a personal favorite of mine among Glenn's films, is to be released on November 7 as the featured movie in a five-disc collection entitled,"The Marlon Brando Collection," according to the Movies Unlimited web site.
Noreen, I don't think that you can get this as a single DVD from commercial sources at this time, only as part of the soon-to-be released collection (unfortunately, not part of a Glenn Ford collection, though it includes the DVD film starring Glenn).
There's an out-of-print version on VHS tape that can still be found from various sellers listed on the Amazon.com web site (just do a search on the title).
Re: Re: Teahouse of the August Moon coming out on DVD
Thanks for the info Tom. I was afraid that would be the case...hopefully someday it will be possible to buy it separately. I do have the VHS, but I'd love to have it on DVD. Of course there's no telling if there will be a commentary track, which is the thing I like the best about DVD's.
