My Grandparents lived in Upper Walmer and I think there was a small store on the strand - Florence and Frank Farmer. I have lots of family info from my father, their youngest (Leslie James) and visited my Auntie Kit at the flats in the Walmer Court complex - but I would love any other local info if possible, either about the stores, the family, local contacts, and generally any info about Deal and Walmer (can anyone remember the Drum Inn for instance, I went in just once as a small child and fell down the step...) anecdotes anything would be welcome - info about the fishing boats, the catch the town....Does anyone know anything about a Capt James Martin and Sara Nott in Deal Town....can anyone tell me info about my great-great grandparent Henry May from Gravel Drive??
