Chris, this may sound prudish, but I found the luridness of your book to be a distraction from your good writing and interesting story (references to Hefner, your own sexual exploits, etc.). A certain sadness came through the story, as I reflected on your father's journey. It seemed like he was searching for something he may have never really found. Too bad he couldn't have embraced at some level the spiritual life that has been so important to certain members of the Kennedy family (perhaps the Shrivers especially). Maybe in your future writing you could appeal more to people like your grandmother Kennedy, and leave out some of the details
