Thank you for honoring Helen Jones the way you did; thank you for sharing your story.
I was sponsoring a heroine addict who killed himself last year, a gentleman who passed exactly 2 weeks before Helen Jones passed. She was trying to help me get this guy into treatments (again), but he took matters into his own hands. Being a recovering alcoholic/addict myself, I know I can lead the horse to the pond, but I can't make him drink.
Your speech did wonders for this alcoholic--thank you for sharing.
