The NHS flu vaccination


The NHS flu vaccination commences on 3rd October 2024

We will be taking bookings for appointments as well as having some walkin options .

patients eligible for a free vaccination :

** Aged 65 and over

** Aged 18 to 64 in one or more of these eligible categories:
Chronic Respiratory Disease
Chronic Heart Disease
Chronic Kidney Disease
Chronic Liver Disease
Chronic Neurological Disease
Pregnancy (any stage)
Morbid obesity (BMI of 40 or above)
Immune disorders (Immunosuppressed)
Asplenia / Dysfunction of the spleen
Diabetes or adrenal insufficiency
Main Carer / Receipt of carers’ allowance
Person in long-stay residential home / facility
Household contact of immunocompromised person
Frontline Health or social care Worker)
Hospice Worker (directly involved in care)
Learning disability

Note - there will be a form to fill - come with a little time to spare as the pharmacist will clinically assess your eligibility for the NHS service we provide.

Wear a short sleeved top to allow easy access to the deltoid muscle for the vaccination .
