A new swimming pool in Cookham was unveiled last Friday in a bid to tackle high demand for swimming lessons in Maidenhead and beyond.

The purpose-built facility in Lower Mount Farm has been constructed by Swim Street, a company aiming to reduce the number of primary school children unable to swim due to national pool shortages.

Flackwell Heath Swim Street and Beaconsfield Swim Street are already open, and Cookham Swim Street is their latest facility following a partnership with the Maidenhead swimming school, Let’s Dive In.
