TURN UP AND SING!

A choral society is inviting anyone who is interested in singing to join them in rehearsing for Handel’s Messiah.

No audition is needed and training is provided by a professional leader over ten weeks at the Marlow Methodist Church Hall in Spittal Street, Marlow.

Singing has become very popular with many choirs performing in the area. But there has been less opportunity for choral works which are often accompanied by an orchestra and soloists.

Marlow Choral Society, formed almost 80 years ago, presents several concerts every year with a range of music, both traditional and contemporary. More than 50 members provide four parts to the music in these works.

The Messiah will be performed at All Saints Church in Marlow on Saturday March 21 and rehearsals start on Monday January 5 and continue until the concert. New singers are being welcomed and should turn up by 7.30 pm on the day. More information can be obtained from the Secretary on 07521 270463.
