I enjoy discussing Jaco's lost basses and hope this thread stays positive. I regret they are lost but feel positive discussion keeps the spirit alive. I have these visions of recovering the Bass Of Doom. Then I call Ingrid to tell her that I have the bass in hand. But I do not send it to her. I request that she and the boys pick it up personally, at my home. After all, I do not want the responsibility of shipping it. Plus, this gives me time to play it before I give it up :)
I think if someone has something to say, they should just say it. Otherwise stay quiet. I think elusive snipets of information are disrespectful to this forum.
I'm sorry, but these kind of discussions about Jaco's basses give me the creeps. It seems that some people here like to straighten out stuff from 20 years back. I agree with Jay: Could we just cut out on the rancours and stick to insightful and interesting stories?
