How delightful it is to discover a bar-restaurant that is physically attractive, where the reception is warm and welcoming, where not a single pretension is to be found and where the food is thoroughly enjoyable. The place is Tel Aviv's recently opened Pastorius.

If I'm ever in Tel Aviv, they will certainly get my business. Actually, it was only last year in NYC that we stopped for a bite before a Prince show. Turned out to be an Israeli restaurant and I really enjoyed the food.

Did Jaco ever visit Israel or the Middle East?
The place closes a little early for a bar named after Jaco.
