hello ingrid , thanks for the hendrix tip . did you remember i liked hendrix ? i will be looking out for it in the shops . my new cd for 2007 is recorded and im mixing next thursday . i cant beleive it , in the studio /out and done . its a sort of jaco/miles tribute . the personel is as follows STEVE FISHWICK ON TRUMPET [ONE OF THE FINEST BEBOP TRUMPETERS IN THE UK] , ALEX GARNETT ON TENOR [ A SAX MONSTER WHO PERFORMS INTERNATIOMALLY WITH RAY GELATO] , LAURIE LOWE ON DRUMS [ 23 YEAR OLD SOON TO BE LEGEND OF BRITISH AND I HOPE INTERNATIONAL DRUMMING ]and oh yes me on my white jap jazz bass . we play my arrangement of teen town which sounds like the miles band of 75 and donna lee which was written by miles[so he says in his book] and played by jaco [its more asociatted with jaco now dont you think ?] will keep you posted and anyone who wants a copy , email me . thanks , mike .
