About the picture(in the Village?) of Jaco that's up(besides being a great one),It may be an optical illusion, but his hands look gigantic.I knew he had big hands, & maybe his face is foreshortened, or his hand is out in front a little bit, but his fingers look the length of his entire face(!)Hmm.interesting..

As you said, Andy, he had large hands, fitting more to someone taller than 6ft. As da Vinci illustrated, the distance from tip of middle finger to the other hand's is the same as height. Jaco, just like his son Felix, and perhaps John as well, the distance between fingertips is longer than their height, most likely due to larger hands. Perhaps that is also why some describe Jaco as walking primate-like.
