big band

Firstly, not sure that's a word, I've been amazed by his gift since the early 70's and forever will be. Secondly, living in Syracuse, was just wondering if you would know the line-up for the big band.

Re: big band

List of musicians that played within Jaco's big band for different settings can be found here:

Re: big band

OOPS..I messed up, Syracuse was the clue, sorry. I do not have first hand information on who will be there, so don't take my word for it, but this has been the line up in the past, basically consisting of the original Peter Graves' Atlantean Driftwood Band:

Peter Graves -- conductor
Billy Ross -- alto sax, soprano sax, flute, piccolo
Ed Calle -- tenor sax, soprano sax, flute, clarinet
Gary Keller -- alto sax, tenor sax, flute, clarinet
Mike Brignola -- baritone sax, bass clarinet, flute
Jim Hacker -- trumpet, flugelhorn
Jason Carder -- trumpet, flugelhorn
Ken Faulk -- trumpet, flugelhorn
Dana Teboe -- tenor trombone
John Kricker -- bass trombone
Mike Levine -- piano, synths
Randy Bernsen -- guitar
Mark Griffith -- drums
Jeff Carswell -- bass

For the show on July 1st, special guests Will Lee and Hiram Bullock will play with the band. I also heard that some of the big band musicians will be playing behind Ms. Aretha.
