Hurricane Felix has been slamming your islands...not usual a hurricane comes this close to the Antilles, the eye of it passing just 40 miles, more or less, north of Aruba and Curacao.

Thanks, it was indeed pretty unusual to see a hurricane psassing by at relatively close distance.Winds were moderate in Curacao by the way but that rain..phew...never seen anything like it! And this was only a category 1 hurricane, you guys have experienced category 4 and 5's, RESPECT!
Luckily nothing seems to be damaged, apart from our TV antenna that was mounted on a pole, it decided to take a rest in our garden :-) I hope Stan was a lucky as we were!
