Old Peaches Walk of Fame

Happened to be walking by the old Peaches Record Store last week (on Sunrise Blvd, now a Hustler store) and noticed they kept the Walk Of Fame when they redid the place.

I found that to be a real relief, that they kept those hand and feet prints there.

Took a couple pictures of Jaco's square:

One with my hand in his handprint:

Re: Old Peaches Walk of Fame

Hi Chris! Sorry it took this long to respond, thanks for the photos, nice quality, may I use it to replace the one that is on the site now?

The imprints are Jaco's & John IV's hands, and Jaco's feet. His hands look smaller than they were due to the cement collapsing around the outline while it was drying, and his left foot was indeed half a size smaller due to a teenhood motor cycle incident. He mostly bought shoes at a store where all the sizes are displayed on racks, so he could grab one of each size needed. :-)

Examples of shoes he wore:

In white or off-white, usually woven material top

or kung fu shoes:

and flip flops

for stage, similar to these, by Capezio:

Now you also know a bit more about Jaco's shoe preferences..just what you needed..haha
