Initially Brian A. Morgan was credited with writing "Rain", no mention of Jaco, but then the twins (1997) were informed by a fan at an Ira Sullivan gig about this song, who then gave the information to JP Inc, which was followed up with attorneys, corrected credit, and payment of retroactive royalties.
Since then several rappers have adapted the melody from the SWV single and incorporated it in their songs.
