Waiting for news ...

Re: New Cd?

As with the Players Club, the Legendary Demos, and now this Woodchuck release, I, along with 2 of the 4 heirs to Jaco's legacy, are in the dark whether these are legitimate official Jaco releases. They are all so great, I would like to shout about them from the roof tops, but there is no mention about any as NEW releases at JacoPastorius.com, the official site. The Legendary Demos belonged to Jaco's 4 children, the others were given away in good faith and in the hopes of a proper release.

Answers?

According to:
http://www.abstractlogix.com/xcart/product.php?productid=23781

it says following about the Legendary Demos:

"These are selections from Jaco Pastorius's demos & unpublished songs before he made his debut. It was compiled by Yoshio Matsus h i ta (Adlib)."

Re: Players Club

"This magical concert was recorded at Jaco's hometown at a very intimate setting. Produced by Bob Bobbing, this is a must have for any Jaco fans !! "

Unofficially official?

Re: Woodchuck

Too early to tell, but the cover photo has a pic from Jaco's earlier years, therefore perhaps not a bootleg?

Conclusion:

A bit unofficially "official", but mostly bootlegs? So confusing.

Any reviews about any of the above CDs?
