hello ingrid , thats a really awesome spirited performance and im guessing the bassist is felix ? the keys guy is great , he does some lovely things at around the 5 min mark on part one . drums , bass it all sounds great ... but was it keys or julius camera ? on a tripod ? shame the bass was not in shot , never mind ... ive realised that ive been visiting this page since 2002 and went to bass camp in 2003 after reading about it here . since then ive met vic wooten so many times at different gigs ... this web site has infulenced me a lot , thanks !! i even won a weeks scholarship to the bass collective at a camp and got to be friends with anthony wellington and visited his place last october for steaks !! all through this internet thing . the internet can be so positive , not all porn and rubbish like some people think . i used to be one of those . thanks and keep sharing !!! mike
part two is full on exellent . the bass sounds like alphonso johnson at the begining of part two , i love all those al `slim` johnson grooves . where was this recorded and when ? great drumming too towards the end , really enjoyed this . ive put up a video of a gig i did last april with 80 year old tap dancer from detroit WILL GAINES , as you will see he nearly has as much energy as this trio . www.myspace.com/michaeledmonds thanks for the great gig clip . mike.
