thats a really nice gig tape piece , a hiram song ? written by hiram ? who is the drummer and where was the gig ? very 80`s sounding and is that a dx7 sound ? reminds me of al jarreau and the moonlighting theme which i think we all loved didnt we ? thanks , mike .

Hi Mike, I don't know where the gig was, but the recording is from the Live In New York series, Volume 4, 1985. There were three drummers on the CD, Kenwood Dennard, Victor Lewis, and Steve Ferrone...my guess it is Victor.

Hiram wrote the tune, it is on his Late Night Talk album.

It's amazing how Jaco holds down a ballad like that and speaks all over it at the same time. Truly Blessed.
