Hi all
Wow what a weekend that was with the mini'ist of the minis playing some mighty rugby against some well organized teams which gave our squad a very tough time. But despite the rain and hail our boys and girls gave an amazing account of themselves both on and off the pitch, never complaning about the conditions and totally enjoying their rugby.
The support play is really coming together and the tagging supurb, never really letting the opposition get going, and some amazing runs resulting in lots of tries.
It was very gratifiying being complimented by the other coaches as to the U6s standard of play and attitude.
Another game organized on sunday saw the U6s able to stretch their little legs with a much bigger pitch to play against Weston with some truly breathtaking moves from the biggy squad, which was a pleasure to watch. All in all the players all deserved to be the Grafter of the week,so a joint award was given to the whole squad, with tournament medals being given to all the players for their stirling efforts.
A huge thanks to all the parents of the children and the club organizers who made the event possible.
Just sunday to go with some fun and games some awards and maybe a BBQ,looking forward to seeing you all sunday.
Ps there are still afew days left to enter the AEG Grass roots rugby comp, with lots of pictures being taken over the weekend.

Re: U6's Tour report
Next years Under 7's team has a great core already and we know that whenever an Under 6 player has found themselves in the same team as the Under 7's, they can more than hold their own. (Thanks for Sunday's performance Johnny!!!)
Mark, Lisa and Jason will move up to Under 8's with the players and will greatly miss all the Under 6's they will leave behind and we'd like to say thanks to all for doing so well for us this year. Clearly we know you have a great coach in Dave who has really brought on your development this year.
Thanks to Dave and Under 6's...enjoy your Rugby and good luck for next season and beyond.
