Thank you to all of those who have helped with the Jubilee Day last Sunday. There were many people involved both before the day and after.
The day was unfortunately not well attended due to the rain but all who came got into he spirit of the day, Jimmy Caulfield in the stocks, the welly throwning and the touch rubgy where all attended and enjoyed. Photos will follow.
Due to the fact we did not have the attendance expected we have made a decision to roll the raffle over to another day. We would like to be able to raise enough money for the club and not waste the good hall of raffle prizes.
We will be selling at Touch Rugby on Wednesdays untill all the raffle tickets are sold.
If you have any other events where by we can sell these tickets please let us know.
Also Dougie who won the fantastic cake donated to us in the auction is bringing it along tonight to sell at touch rugby proceeds going to the club. Thanks Dougie.

I think we would all like to say a big thank you Paula, for all of the time and considerable effort that you put in to the day. Also, a big thanks to all of those who helped you before, during and after the event, and those who stuck it out through the rotten weather. Let's hope that the proceeds build up over the next few weeks, so you can see the deserved rewards.
Mark - you looked pretty happy, stood there with your jacket on and a beer in your hand. You did a good job convincing us to part with the odd pound here and there!
And that was a pretty impressive cake that was on display too.
