Trinity Behavioral Health

November 7, 2011

To whom it may concern:

I am writing to you in a plea for your help in a matter of the utmost importance. My fiance's daughter was unwillingly and illegally placed into an inpatient behavioral rehabilitation facility in Northeastern Arkansas called Trinity Behavioral Health formerly known as The Lord's Ranch. This facility is funded solely on state and federal medicaid programs in direct violation of federal and state laws prohibiting the use of public funds for faith-based rehabilitation programs. Not only is this facility subversively acquiring public funds and defrauding the medicaid program. There is documented history of abuse and forceful manipulation to a fundamentalist, zealous, and fanatical evangelical christian doctrine which includes forced church attendance to an evangelical service, writing pages upon pages of bible verse for punishment, locked in “isolation rooms” for hours and even days, being told they are being controlled by demons, purging exercises of said demons, having access only to christian literature, television programs, and music, and constant use of anti-gay propaganda. It is in direct violation of the First Amendment of our Constitution and needs to be addressed immediately. The funds received by this institution on a yearly basis is in the tens of millions with generous donations to several key political figures to avoid any type of investigation. I am in the process of scraping together the necessary funds to retain a lawyer to get her out of this abusive environment. Her tenure is tentatively scheduled for a minimum of a year's stay or, I believe, until every dime of medicaid funds are exhausted. I visited the facility recently and it sickens me to see what is being endorsed there. The emotional, mental and physical abuse is beyond words and I implore you to help me first and foremost get my step-daughter out of there and hopefully expose the fraudulent nature of the program. I am attaching an article from the Arkansas Times that details much of the fraud and abuse propagated at the facility over a decade. http://www.arktimes.com/arkansas/its-not-childs-play/Content?oid=964515 .

I implore you to read this article and see my concerns have merit and warrant national media attention and legal action. Please Help.

I am in the process of contacting the Arkansas Chapter of the ACLU and I have submitted a letter to several news organizations and talk shows. Unfortunately, I do not have the money to hire a lawyer at this time and it will be probably next month before I can get a lawyer to attempt to get her out of there.

Regards,

David Ford

Re: Trinity Behavioral Health

Working in Behavioral Health is interesting enjoyable challenging at times. Then the hospital became short staffed and started floating the psych nurses (RNs) to the main campus to perform roles for which they were not trained but try to offer their services. Factors that influence a health mobile app design price are complexity, region, cross platform, designer competence and skills, documentation, company's requirements.
