We picked up this activity during our shore visit to Belize on Royal Caribbean cruise.
The reason we chose this is because our kids wanted to experience the cave tubing and the jungle trek during our visit out there. Our tour guide Norman was very knowledgeable and proud Belizean and gave us a good dump on the history and the culture of the Belize and its glorious past. It took us about an hour to reach the Cave tubing site and due to tight schedule we were mostly on our toes to get on to the jungle trek before reaching the starting site of this cave tubing. Our cave tubing and the jungle trek instructor Carlos was an excellent guide and gave us a lot of info on the life and culture of the Mayan people and he was himself of a Mayan descendent.
After a short 25 minutes trek we reached the cave tubing start point and our family was completely thrilled to see this naturally beautiful site and the crystal clear water stream. our group got into the set of 7 tube and Carlos took us all through this very ancient cave which had a lots of stalagmite formations. Guess this activity took us about 45 minutes to complete and it was an amazing experience.
