This excursion was a great way to experience two very interesting activities in the jungle.
The Guide: Our guide was Ivor. He was very knowledgeable about his culture, his country, and the details of the excursion. He always answered a question, and repeatedly asked if there was anything anyone wanted to know about Belize, the people, the language, etc. The bus ride into the jungle was about an hour long, and Ivor made the time go fast! He was funny, sweet, and patient.
Ziplining: I had never zip lined before, and these courses were perfect for a beginner and/or kids. You're in good hands with the crew waiting at each platform. No matter how you come at them, they will catch you! You do five lines to reach the end.
Cave tubing: This cenote is really beautiful. Crystal clear water, and beautiful rock formations. After the tour, you have a couple of minutes to float around. The "free float" was the only part of the excursion I felt was too short. It, literally, only lasted a FEW minutes. While in the cave, you're totally safe. Ivor keeps everyone together, and if you're unable to paddle your tube fast enough, Ivor will tow you. It's super cute!
