"Tulip Fever"

Hi all,

Just wanted to take a moment and thank Mrs. Darcy for recommending "Tulip Fever" as a good read. After reading her review, I immediately went out and purchased it. I will not spoil the story, but will just say I am on the part where a scheme is set in motion. The book reads like a mystery. I can't wait to see how it ends.

So, I want to affirm Mrs. Darcy's recommendation. Great book. Great summer reading!

Re: "Tulip Fever"

Elise, I'm so happy you liked it as much as I did!

I believe it only took me two days, I just couldn't stop. I would never have known about it's existence if I hadn't read a short article about the fact that the scriptwriter of P&P2005 wrote it and that there are plans to adapt it for a movie. The fact that the place of action is Amsterdam, and the era the 17th century added to my curiosity, of course, as those who know I'm Dutch can well imagine!
