Yes, Eli, this Elizabeth can get on your nerves, but remember she's been through a lot in the last six months - lost her father, had her youngest sister disgraced, her oldest sister humiliated, thought she was losing her home and having to move, and then forced to marry. She has no idea Darcy rescued Lydia. And his fumbling actions as a new husband are fueling her active imagination. She's got a lot to learn, but so does he.

And your writing is absolutely marvellous.Her character is very well depicted.It is only my own lust that fails to understand her hesitation in front of such a...well you know what I mean. How can she resist him! Besides she had been thinking about it and did not seem to be so detached at that time, was she?

Boy, these two really get on each other's nerves, don't they. I loved the part where he walked in on her while she was in the tub. I could feel the tension. Of course, Wickham has to be the father of Willie. I momentarily, for a fleeting second, thought it might be Darcy's, but no way. Keep writing and post quickly. Thanks a bunch!!!!!
