My band was the second band to play at Playboy Club in Great Gorge, New Jersey when it opened. We played downstairs from the main showroom. The band was called 2 Fell Swoop and consisted of seven musicians. I believe we followed a band called the Maori Volcanics or something like that. We were given rooms in the Bunny Dorms which I thought was quite funny at the time and got to meet lots of great people while playing there including Kenny Rogers. Ate breakfast at the Mixing Bowl almost every day. It was sad to see what's left of such a nice resort.
