Elizabeth line services expected to be 'very busy' if planned tube strikes go ahead on London Underg (Edited by Author)

Elizabeth line services are expected to be ‘very busy’ next week if the London Underground strikes go ahead, Transport for London (TfL) has said.

TfL is asking customers to check before travelling ahead of planned strike action by RMT Union Tube drivers in a dispute over working patterns.

The rail operator said dialogue with the union is ongoing, and it will operate ‘as many services as possible’ if the strikes go ahead.

The strike action has been planned to take place between on Tuesday, April 21 and Friday, April 24.

If they go ahead, there is expected to be ‘some service on most lines, but with significant disruption’, TfL said.

The level of service on each line will be varied across the network.

There is expected to be no service on the Piccadilly and Circle lines as well as on the Metropolitan line between Baker Street and Aldgate.
