Following our successful Bat evening some participants felt it would be good to start our own WildCookham Bat group. I have offered to be the Group Leader of the new activity so we are inviting any members who would like to join this team to get in touch.
The main aims will be to learn more about these fascinating creatures, to carry out surveys to determine what species and populations we have locally, where they might be roosting and what habitat improvements can be made to support them. There will also be opportunities for more local bat watching evenings.
Anyone wishing to become involved please get in touch with me via wildcookham@gmail.com.
