Mata Hari was born on August the 7th 1876, maybe she was a spy maybe not.
But I think she would seen the Metre Market as the the perfect place for a dead drop, or meeting a clandestine source ( I might have been reading some John le Carre books on my holidays). So what will you spy at this weeks market, some lovery Italian treats from Saporito Deli alongside mouth watering bread and pastries from Rex Bakery, Salsa and Spice from Maya Mexican, truly epic brownies from Epic Brownies, granola from U.Bakery, coffee from Moneyrow Beans, Tea from Twyford Tea, local jams, eggs, honey, apple juice, fresh beer and our every popular pop up cafe.
Simon the "Hydrangea Man" has also been busy, and we will have some fabulous cut flowers grown in Cookham Dean.
Cookham Candles range of candles and diffusers, Windy Mills soaps and balms plus Audre Pure's fabulous skin care products.
Our first Holiday activities is this week with Ruth Burgess our storyteller returning, see below for times.
