Sometime in the 1930's President Franklin D. Roosevelt visited Malta and was given a Knights Templar Figurine that was crafted of tin by a native craftsman in Valencia. My question is; Who was the craftsman and are there any of those figurines known to exist today? I would appreciate any information anyone may be able to give me. I have many memories of Malta as I was station there at Luqua for six months in 1951 with US Navy Sqd VP741. Please email me. Thanks
