Looking for info and family of Paul Vella who would have been about 95 years old now. He and some of his brothers moved to Australia and elsewhere. Paul married Augusta Vella in France and eventually came to the U.S. They were my grandparents. Would love to hear from anyone in Malta who may be from my line.

The best place to start is the Maltese Churches. Maltese are baptised in their local churches and register their birth at the the church too. The relevant church has its own patron saint, and the person's second name is usually the name of that church' patron saint where he was baptised. The Vella family name is very common in Malta nad many other European countries, so good luck guy.

I know the town was Tejun. Another of my relatives, Michael, was Priest in the Catholic Church there.
I will try to contact the Church.
It may take awhile, but I'm enjoying the research.
