I served with 235 Signal Squadron at fort Bingemma from 1966 -69
The main TX site was Zonqor, near delimare point and the RX site was Ta wied rini near Bingemma
It would be good to renew contact with any colleages who were at Bingemma, I visted fort bingemma last year on holiday but it was a shadow of its former self. does anyone have any info re the history of Fort Bingemma, which would be very interesting

I have been transcribing my Grandad's memoirs over the past few months and was researching his time in Malta. I came across this website and your name, a name mentioned in his memoirs. Are you the same John Poole that went to Germany after Malta? I also believe my Dad Phil and my Uncle David visited you in Germany in 1971? I'd love to be able confirm some of these facts with you.
