I'm trying to find out what aircraft was lost while flying back to the U/K in Dec 1945. It was carrying some men home after they were de-mobbed after the war. If anyone has any information on Sidney Gotthiemer who was part of AHQ Eastern Med. Again any information on AHQ Eastern Med during 1943 to 45 would also be very useful. If anyone can tell me what type of aircraft type, Sqn No or if they can tell me if the flight log is available i would really appreciate it.
