My family decided to try the Jaguar Paw Cave Tubing experience in Belize and it turned out to be our favorite. The bus ride from the port to the caves is kind of long (an hour plus) but our tour guide was informative and funny. The bus ride shows you how poor the country is and it's kind of sad. But once you get to the caves, they really know how to show you a good time. You put your stuff in a locker so don't bring what you don't need and you may get wet, so a bathing suit is a possibility. You get a life vest and a helmet with a light on it and off you go. There is a very mild climb up some steps and into the cave entrance. They hook you together in the tubes and a tour guide explains the history of the caves. It was an amazing experience. They give you lunch and there is beer to purchase as well. I am so glad we did this!
